Bakersfield First Church of the Nazarene is a Christian church devoted to following Jesus Christ, to celebrating God's grace and to engaging the world with the good news of the gospel.

Since our founding over 100 years ago, Bakersfield First Church of the Nazarene has changed quite a bit. It looks different now than it did a century ago. It sounds different now than it did when it was founded. But the one thing that hasn't changed is BFC's mission to engage the world, equipped with the good news of Jesus Christ.

No matter where you come from or where you've been, it's our hope that you would find BFC to be a place where you can experience the hope, new life and redemption that can only be the gift of our loving God.

Coming Series: Living Mission

What might it look like if we were to engage in what God is doing in this world to bring healing and wholness? Living Mission is a series coming to BFC this summer, designed to challenge us to take those next steps to join God's mission of redeeming the whole world.
