GETTING INVOLVED
We have so many opportunities to get involved here at BFC. Depending on your spiritual gifts and talents, there is a specific place for you to get involved and start serving. Understanding what your talents are is a big step towards finding a place to get involved. If you love talking with people, being a Sunday Morning Greeter is a great job for you! If you prefer to stay behind the scenes, but love to build things, wonderful! We have plenty of jobs and tasks that we need help with. Whatever your gifts are, there is a place for you to further God’s kingdom in your local church here and now.
THERE ARE FIVE PRIMARY AREAS YOU CAN HELP WITH:
DISCIPLESHIP
There are many areas you can get involved in assisting with your discipleship pathway. Being a teacher, facilitator, or helper in various areas throughout our church is a great way to assist with our discipleship. We always need volunteers to help with children, youth, or even adult discipleship. Creating disciples and preparing them to make more disciples is at the core of our mission here at BFC. If you are interested in helping with discipleship, let us know! We would love to get you involved.
TECHNOLOGY
Every facet of our church is filed with technology. Sunday worship, events, you name it, we need help with technology. If you love running sound, running slides, or whatever it may be, this can be a great way to get involved! Maybe it’s helping our social media campaign, designing event flyers, or even editing our sermon videos. Depending on what you love to do and can help with, there is a spot for you. If you are interested, let us know! We would love to put your tech-savy self to work.
HOSPITALITY
Our hospitality team helps make our church a warm and welcoming place for all people. From making coffee in the morning, preparing donuts, or saying hello, we always need hospitality workers. This is a great opportunity for those who love human interaction, always have a smile on their face, and feel fulfillment in fostering the welcoming atmosphere that our church is all about.
Local + Global Mission Teams
If you love serving the poor and needy, then helping with our impact initiative is where you belong! We see such a need to impact our community and that is one of the reasons we are where we are. We have a multitude of ministries that are geared towards impacting those around us. If you want more info or are interested in serving, let us know!
BEHIND THE SCENES
There is a lot of stuff that must be done every week in preparation for Sunday as well as other events. We do our best to keep our building clean, fresh, and welcoming. This is a great area for your creativity to come out. If you want to help stuff bulletins, make things, organize, or even clean, we would love to utilize your passions and gifts that God has given you!
